B.Tech: S.V. University, Tirupati, India, 1995

Kiran Kuchi was born on 27th September, 1974, in Nellore, India. He received B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from S.V. University, India in 1995 and M.S degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1997. Kiran was with Motorola Labs, Fortworth between 1997-99, where he contributed to cdma2000 transmit diversity/space-time coding concepts. Currently he is working as a Senior Research Engineer at Nokia Research Center, Irving, TX. where he made contributions to Nokia GSM/EDGE base station and mobile phone products. He developed reduced state soft-out equalization algorithms for EDGE phones, single antenna interference cancellation (SAIC) algorithms upcoming SAIC GSM phones, down link diversity/space-time coding algorithms for WCDMA and GSM systems. Kiran is an inventor/co-inventor of over 10 US patents.

In his spare time he enjoys traveling, hiking and camping trips and sports.
