Dr. Sheng-Chou Lin

Dr. Sheng-Chou Lin received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Tamkang University, Taiwan in 1984, the M.S. and Ph. D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1992 and 1997 respectively. He joined the Elec­tronic Research and Service Organization (ERSO), Taiwan, in 1984 and worked on the CMOS analysis for digital IC products. From 1986 to 1990 he worked on the RF measure­ment, design and simulation for radar systems in Chung-Shan Institution of Science and Technology (CSIST), Taiwan. In 1995, he was affiliated with Bell Northern Research of Northern Telecom, Richardson, TX. From 1996 to1998, he was with Northern Telecom, Richardson, TX, where he was a Senior Technical Staff Member in the Wireless Wireless Networks Group. In 1998, he was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Engineering of Fu-Jen University and in 1999 joined the department as an Assistant Professor. His research interests include microwave systems, wave propagation, statistical modeling and optimization of signals, neural networks, Radar system design, simulation of fiber opti­cal and mobile communication systems.
