Educational Background

Education

I got my B.Sc. degree from the University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq, in July, 1997. In Sep. 1997 I joined the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), Irbid, Jordan and I got my Master degree in communication & Electronics in July 2000. Between 1997 and 1999, I worked as a teaching assistant at the same university in the Department of Electrical Engineering. From August 1999 until July 2000, I was working as a designer and developer engineer at International Technical Engineering, Amman, Jordan. Between August 2000 and June 2000, I was working as an instructor in the Department of Electronic Technology, College of Technology at Dammam, Saudi Arabia. In August 2002, I joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Texas at Arlington. Currently, I am a member of prof. Vasant K. Prabhu , Telecom Research Group.

Research Summary

Digital Communication theory and its application to performance evaluation of wireless communication systems. Specific current interests include different aspects of the performance analysis of cellular mobile systems, and the effect of channel fading and co-channel interference on the degradation of the system.

Personal information

I am from Palestine, but I am living in Amman, Jordan. My parents have been forced to leave their home in 1948 as a result of the Arab-Israeli war in 1948. I am waiting the day that I will turn back to my home in Alfalujah in Palestine. I was born in Amman, Jordan, in 1975. I am very grateful to my parents, brothers and sisters for their sacrifice, encouragement, and patient.
