Areas of Expertise Wireless communications, communication systems, remote sensing, engineering education. Background Dr. Gibbs joined UTA as Associate Chair for Graduate Advising and Research in 2004. Before joining UTA, Dr. Gibbs served as Adjunct Associate Professor at University of Texas at Dallas from 1995 to 2003. Dr. Gibbs served as Program manager for Benchmarking, Manager in Competence Management, Manager for North America Technical Sales Support and Manager for Technical Traning and Development in Telecommunications Systems divison at Ericsson Inc. between 1989 and 2004.
