Robert Gore was born in Grosse Point Michigan. He received his B.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Wayne State University in 1985. After graduation, he joined General Dynamics (now Lockheed Martin) in Fort Worth, Texas, where he has worked on applications related to signal processing. In 2000, Mr. Gore enrolled in the University of Texas at Arlington part time to pursue his M.S. degree. He passed his Master’s defense in Fall 2004, and he is currently working on his Ph.D. in the Image Processing and Neural Networks Lab in the EE department, under the supervision of Professor Mike Manry. His research interests include signal processing, neural networks, and artificial intelligence.
