Saurabh Sureka is working on Masters thesis on GMDH and GMDH-like networks. Using Recursive Gram - Schmidth Orthonormalization in a Functional Link Network, useful polynomial basis functions are identified and ordered. The performance parameters of such a network in comparison to a GMDH network are proposed to have significant advantages thereby creating a better class of estimators and classifiers. His current research interest is estimation theory. Pattern and trend identification in Global Financial Markets also enthuse him, an application using few concepts in random theory and parameter estimation is in the offing. He received his Bachelors in Engineering ( B.E.) from SSGMCE, Shegaon (INDIA) and a certificate course (CEP) in Communication Technologies from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (INDIA). |
