Jesse Olvera was born in Altus, Oklahoma in 1962. He received the B.S.E.E and M.S.E.E. degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1990 and 1992 respectively. He is currently working on a Ph.D. in neuro-control at UTA. Since 1992, he has worked as a systems design engineer at Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas. His technical interests include neural networks, signal processing, control theory, and electro-optics.
