Dr. Tae-Hoon Kim was born in 1957 in Seoul Korea. He received the B.E. degree in Engineering from the Department of Electronics at Korea University in 1979, and the M.S.E.E. degree from Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan in 1985. From 1992 up to 2001, Dr. Kim was a graduate research assistant in the department of electrical engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington. Since 1995, Mr. Kim was a Ph.D. student in the Image Processing and Neural Networks Laboratory at UTA. His technical interests were neural networks, signal processing, image processing, computer vision, and wireless communications. He received Ph.D from University of Texas at Arlington in 2001.
