Biography

Jun Yu received his dual BS degrees in Electrical Engineering and Economics and MS degree in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University in 1991 and 1994, respectively. Afterwards he worked in China International Trust and Investment Corporation for three years. Jun Yu received his PhD in Electric Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2000. He joined ERCOT in the same year. As a key staff, he is actively involved in the whole electric power system restructuring process in Texas. He is currently the Market Analysis and Development Lead at ERCOT.
