The
M.Engr. degree is a practice-oriented degree requiring
36 semester hours distributed in the three areas of
Engineering Design, Analysis and Synthesis; Advanced
Mathematics, Basic Science and Engineering Science and
Design; and courses chosen to complement specified portions
of the program and provide a meaningful total program.
Candidates for the M.Engr. degree whose native language
is not English must have a minimum score of 40 on the
Test of Spoken English (TSE). Certification for graduation
may be obtained via remedial work if the minimum is
not met. Students whose native language is not English
who have not taken the TSE must attempt the TSE prior
to the end of their second semester.
