Welcome to the MSP Lab at the University of Texas Arlington. We are located in the Electrical Engineering Department in room 139 Nedderman Hall. 

The Multirate Signal Processing Laboratory (MSP Lab) conducts research in general areas of digital signal processing, multirate systems, wavelets and filter banks with applications in communications, image/video compression and image restoration and reconstruction. We are also interested in efficient implementations of these systems for wireless communication and handheld devices.

 

The MSP Laboratory, which is directed by Prof. Soontorn Oraintara, is a research lab affiliated with the Electrical Engineering Department, the University of Texas at Arlington.
