EE Professor Publishes four engineering works

 Frank L. Lewis, Ph.D., professional engineer, professor of electrical engineering and head of the Advanced Controls and Sensors Group at the Automation & Robotics Research Institute, has edited or co-authored four books published this year. They are:

  • “Autonomous Mobile Robots: Sensing, Control, Decision-Making, and Applications,” edited with S.S. Ge, CRC Press, Boca Raton, 2006
  • “Nonlinear H2/H-Infinity Constrained Feedback Control: A Practical Design Approach Using Neural Networks,” co-authored with M. Abu-Khalaf and J. Huang, Springer-Verlag, Berlin, 2006
  • “Intelligent Fault Diagnosis and Prognosis for Engineering Systems,” co-authored with G. Vachtsevanos, M. Roemer, A. Hess and B. Wu, John Wiley, New York, 2006
