student Timothy Merkin received "Best Student Paper" Award at
the IEEE sponsored International Conference on Ultra-Wideband at
Boston, MA.

Electrical Engineering PhD student Timothy Merkin
received "Best Student Paper" Award at the IEEE sponsored
International Conference on Ultra-Wideband at Boston, MA from 24
- 27 September 2006.
He wrote the paper entitled "An Ultra-Wideband Low Noise
Amplifier with Air-suspended RF MEMS Inductors" based on his
research in Analog & Mixed Signal IC Design lab under the
supervision of Dr. Sungyong Jung. The paper was co-authored with
Dr. Sungyong Jung, Dr. Saibun Tjuatja from UTA and Dr.
Youngjoong Joo from Arizona State University, and Dr.
Jeong-Beong Lee and Mr. Daniel Park from UTD. |
